Breeding ?

Hey guys,

After months of deciding I have decided I want to get a bichir!
Either delhezi or ornate... not sure which one yet!

My question is, can they be captively bred? and/or be mix bred? for example, mixing a delhezi and ornate will work?

Sorry for double post,
Will I be able to sex them when they are small? 4inch or so?
or will I have to wait until they are bigger before their tail and fins change according to sex?

They can be bred, they will cross breed, you can't sex them at 4"

hmmm i see will a senegal breed with a delhezi? or del x ornate? these 3 are the only ones available normally...
