Hello, I purchased a 2" breidohri from my LFS. The LFS has a large 860 gallon display tank with a pair of breidohri and a bunch of other south and central american cichlids. The pair in the tank bred a few months back and the store raised the fry for 3 months and were recently put up for sale. I bought one of the largest (most were only an inch or so while a handful were 2") and I put him in a 15 gallon tank until he's maybe 3" before I put him in my 65 gallon (Soon to be at least a 135) Will he suffer from stunted growth if I keep him in there growing out with some baby corys for maybe a month? I couldn't find much info on these guys and heard they're one of the least aggressive (but still fairly aggressive) viejas (Or paratheraps as some people like to call now) Thanks in advance! :D

If fish is only 2 inches like stated a month should be fine , just make sure you keep up with wc's.:)

A small tank does not stunt fish, although a small tank with sub par water quality will, so as tanyaelec11 said, lots of water changes. The smaller the tank, the faster water quality can degrade.
The breidhori do best with some veggies in their diet, either from a high spirulina pellet, other plants.

I decided to move him into my 65 a few days ago. He's doing well and is having fun exploring his temporary home, I will get a larger aquarium for him soon :) my geos and green terror don't seem to mind him too much. Feeding him new life spectrum + hikari algae wafers here and there. Hopefully I can get him a bigger home within the next few months. Thanks guys!
