Until now i have always used black substrate and black background in every tank i have had, regardless of what fish i had (Probably because it matched my decor
) I always thought that they looked pretty good, but i recently changed my Breidohri's substrate and made it alot lighter. I went and brought 3 different size and shade of sand, mixed different ammounts of them until i got the effect i wanted. Then added some compulsary black gravel !
Anyway, here is my Breidohri........ I think he looks lovely ! Pictures taken on a mobile, so they are not the greatest and don't really do him justice but you get the idea.I just wish i had a decent camera, to show just how white and pink he really looks. I will try and get some better ones, when he settles a bit more.
