Breidorhi spawned !?

Got home from work this morning and while feeding my fish i noticed my little growout breidorhi had spawned(didnt think they could spawn at this size)male is 3.5-4" and the female is maybe 3".they are keeping the rest of the group at the other end of the 75 gallon,alot of the eggs are white but some are tan.

Congrats John. Can't say I'm surprised that you got them to spawn tho. Are you gonna let them keep spawning?

No i think i am going to separate them,so that their growth doesnt slow down. I have noticed when fish spawn at a small size they tend to grow real slow.

Awesome! I have never heard of them breeding so young. These are incredible cichlids as juveniles and especially as adults.

Awesome news bro!! I agree with growth slowing down after spawning so good call but u still have others to grow out do I'd be hesitant on splitting up a breeding pair especially breidohri I would love to see more of these around

thanks everyone,i got them from ira,i am still undecided about separating them but i dont want the growth to slow to much.
