Anyone else here brew their own beer?

I'm looking for some recipes that use honey, either to finish or as a malt supplement.

me and my friend do more wine but did do beer a few times..... hop on google thats how we got our recipes...

this will probably be closed cause some people find that alcohol talk is drug talk and not acceptable for a family forum...

Don't close this! All of you minors stay out this is a bunch of "of-age" people talking about another hobby! Now that that's out of the way.

I really want to start brewing this summer when I get a house, as I've helped my dad and a couple of buds brew a few times. I'm more into stouts (especially oatmeal... mmmm), maybe we should find out all who brew and swap recipes. I have a couple of my dad's that are delicious.

I just helped a friend of mine make a Honey Belgium Ale that called for 3 lbs. of pure honey! It should be ready in a few weeks.

I have been brewing for a couple years now. I'm about to make my first stout in a few days. No honey recipes yet though. Mostly IPAs and other PAs

Have you tried Stone's IPA? Man, you can crack that mother in a room, and smell it 30 feet away. Also, Dogfish Head's 90 minute or 120 minute IPA...That beer is a MONSTER!

Oh yea, and for you other "fine" beer drinkers: www.beeradvocate.com Best beer site on the web, hands down.

I used to brew beer, but I found I could never make anything as good as I could buy.

One thing about honey beers is that they ferment very fast, watch out that you don't blow your airlock!

I like extremely hoppy brews, the more hops, the better! Dogfish 120 is one of the best out there, I also like Red Nectar IPA a lot. My staple is Bridgeport IPA.

I have a feeling this thread will be closed, but I wish it weren't. It seems like an adult discussion of craft brews is not encouraging underage drinking, but what do I know? About a year ago a Mod started a thread on "favorite beers", it disappeared without a trace...

I hear you can make an acceptable mead without fancy equipment. A guy I knew in college brewed a few gallons in his dorm for the Medieval Studies reception.
