Brichardi fry

I've never had brachadi breed, but my mbunas are sex machines, and I don't feed the babies anything. the adults are messy eaters and I think the babies just eat little scraps floating around.
And Yes, brachardi are great family members and older siblings will help raise younger siblings, but anyone that is not in the family better watch out, even other brachardi.

I soak up pellets in a cup to make them soft, then I crush them into bits and throw that in the tank.... the babies will go nutz!
never thought about that, its a great idea

I have N. brichardi fry, I feed mine Hikari First Bites, it's the same thing I feed all my fry. It's a fine powder food for baby fish. They are good parents and most of my fry are still alive and about two months old, they also already have another bunch of eggs. I also bred them once about a year ago but with a different pair, I find that they are not fast growers...not compaired to say convicts or mollys.

Be ready to have a constant stream of multi-sized fry... They breed constantly and, being communal, most of the fry will survive assuming the water quality is what it should be.

I have so many brichardi fry right now I can't get rid of them all.
