I have been working on my rock display for my AC. I was wondering if you could use a red brick that you buy at a local landscaping place. I kind of want to build a giant wall with holes and hiding places. Right now I am using red slate but they don't want to stay together. Everything starts moving when I put more on top of each other. Any Ideas? It is a 90 gallon tank so I have room to work with.

I would not recommend brick at all. Many toxic chemicals. Try some kind of slate that is used for ponds.

I have a couple bricks in my tank to give my rocks a more solid base. I have had no water quality issues and no deaths in my tank at all. I've seen some nice brick set ups in tanks. Just wash them really well

ok thanks i tried using the silicon and it is okay i just don't want to be stuck with 1 option down the road. Right now I have slate in there and it is okay but I want the fish to be able to hide higher up in the tank. Thanks for the ideas and I will try some of them out
