I'm looking to enclose my porch the beginning of next year, the main reason being to upgrade my tank. The floor of the room is brick and with the temp change at night, the bricks sweat. The room is currently unheated, when its enclosed the temp will be more stable, but I'm guessing there will still be some condensation. I'm worried about the stand sitting on the bricks and possibly rotting over time. Anybody dealt with this situation?

You could use a dehumidifier, most have a humidistat that you could set to come on automatically when it cools off.

Your brick may be sitting on a sand bed with cement grout for the seams? If that is what you have I would suggest a concrete sealer on the entire surface. Brick is porous and moisture will always come through it. If you enclose and insulate it should be no different than any other room in the house.

Thanks for the quick ideas everybody! I have a dehumidifier & I'll try the PVC liner too.
