Brick Stand?

I just got a 90 gallon standard, and to save time and money I want to house it on the bottom compartment of my 55 gallon stand. As the 90 gallon is wider than the 55 stand, can I support the overhanging sides with bricks? How can I disguise the bricks so that the rest of my family won't mind such a cheap way of handling this tank?

How low would it be? You could just stack 2x4s.

Hang cloth from the bottom of the tank to the floor like a skirt. You can buy velcro thats sticky and stick one side to the cloth the other to the tank.
