Well, today I start changing my media in the filter of the 110 tall predator reef. I was using seachem matrix media to great effect. but i noticed the price went sky high and i was able to get this zeolite material at a more affordable price.

www.thatfishplace.com

It did need some rinsing but i was able to only use 200g. of 2.5 kg. box.
Not bad in my opinion. what do you guys think. Does anyone out there
like brightwell or what? I wish i could take pics but the cam was stolen awhile back and i am one of the millions without a job right now. sucks.:irked:

I did a check on brightwell aquatics site and the product wasnt even listed. weird.

so nobody uses neozeo or that other german brand...zeovit? I thought more people were into that stuff. weird...

I use brightwell and love there product's its funny but I ordered this filter media last week and it should be here soon Zeovit is terrible nothing but a mess goes against alot of what a reef tank should be.

i understand the zeovit theory, but man......its overload on equipment and buying of zeolites and chemicals! Big drain in the wallet! I plan on using this neozeo, in the canister filter to reduce some of the nutrients as well as adding more bacteria to sum up phosphate production. You guys use the Bacter7 as well? i havent tried it yet. I have been using API products and seachem as well.

I plan on using my phosphate reactor and a small pump to do exactly what they want so I can test and test to see if it was worth the time or not.
