I scored this piece while hunting for whitetail sheds at our hunting property. I do all my own driftwood for my tanks and never came across a piece like this. So...love it or hate it? And any opinions on what type of setup you would put it in? I have a little bit of everything as far as fish go and two 180 gallon tanks that I got cheap on Craigslist and just redid the silicone on. 20170109_193043.jpg 20170109_192834.jpg 20170109_192741.jpg

Thanks! I still don't know what to do with it. Lay it flat like some form of drift wood carpet or set it up against a wall like a background. Im thinking attaching some plants to it would make it really pop. Either way it was an interesting find and I'm excited to see if it works

Man, I really like the first one. Wish I could find something like that, so gnarly and twisted!

because the center is so big you could probably cut some pieces out of the center

I was actually thinking it could be cut and made into two pieces also. For now I'm leaving it whole and first I think I will try it flat with some plants. I have a strong feeling this could change at any point haha.

Now as far as fish I'm still undecided. For grow outs I currently have a nice group of geo altifrons and redheads. Also have some GATFs, tiger stripe SDs, clown loaches, small pbass and random smaller cats all over the place. Also have some small rays but I don't know if they'd appreciate something like this unless I elevated it a little bit so they could swim freely under.
I know it's all personal preference but I like getting others ideas. I can't exactly ask friends/family or co-workers for opinions on things they have no interest in lol
