could i raise brime shrimp in my refuge . it is about 8 gallons has macro algea in it and a turn over rate of about 1s an hour

BriNe shrimp live in brine water, which is an extremely salty specific gravity. Way too salty for fish to live in. You can easily hatch your own & feed out the babies. Once they absorb their eggsack, they are basicly not nutritious--mostly water. Much better foods out there to feed your fish.
