I dont know if maybe this is the wrong place to post this but anywho. I bought some Cons to raise and breed for feeders. expecting to have a few months to wait before anything happened I was shocked to see baby Cons hatched in my tank. I wasn't watching them that closely but one day I noticed a pair was really agressive and thats when I spotted the fry. I let them grow out for a bit and once they where free swimmers I moved them to a cycled 20Gtank ( I could get them all bu once the parents where removed they disappeared quickly) they still had their yolk sacks but I got prepared and bot a shrimpery allong with the packages to add in with the mix. The LFS told me that in a day I would see them and just to dump the little bottle in the tank and refill with tap water. all's well so far but after 2 days no more shrimp where appearing in the top. well I let it go for a day but when there where still none I emptied it and restarted. same thing again I only got 2 days out of a package before the shrimp quit. one more time same effect. whats going whrong or what am I doing wrong? all the help is appreciated.

I'm not sure what you bought, but your LFS is lame. There are pre packaged brine shrimp and salt but the hatching rate is low. If they just sold you eggs, you'll need to add marine salt. For good brine shrimp eggs and info go to www.brineshrimpdirect.com

i use the egg package and add my own salt.. i also use tank water from the sump.. i dunon if that helps or not but i have good results..
i keep the hatchery in the dark for a day or 4 and then put it in the window so it gets some sun for a few hours.. all the hatched shrimp swim up from the bottom box into the top part.. theres always a whole bunch of them.. i usuially get 2 hatchings from one set of eggs..

yeah, im surprised that you have 2 days of shrimp in FW. the marine salt is very important, so make sure that you read the link that tigerdat gave you. and it's early, maybe i read a little wrong, but are you adding the brine shrimp directly to the tank with the fry? add them to another tank, then feed them
