You guys wont beleive this- but when I got up this morning I looked at the thermometer outside and it said somewhere between 40* and 45* I was still squinting- so Im thinking my poor oscars out there in the pond- even with the 2 300watt heaters, Ill bet it got down into the high sixties- theyre going to be slow this morning. They were belly up slow- like dead slow. I picked them both out by hand and as I was walking to the shovel - i felt a muscle twitch and it wasnt mine, so I jet them inside to the big tanks 30g sump and then did pretty much exactly what redtailking had said in this posthttp://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210626&page=3&highlight=indo.posting #25. As of right now they are REALLY active and bumping into each other like you would expect from 2 adult LIVING oscars in 1 chamber of a 30g sump.
When I read what he did last week to bring 3 frozen ITs back I thanked him then- thinking to myself I guess thats good to know but whatever. So I just wanted to thank him again for saving my pets and making it so I didnt have to dig 2 holes in the mud first thing in the morning! The reason I dont just write it here is because I wanted to give credit where credit is due.:clap :clap:clap:clapSo thanks again RTK.:clap:clap:clap:clap

That's nice to hear they're ok now.

Yep thank you. I came out here to socal 10 years ago from NY- as a matter of fact I worked in the same burough as you live- and i would never have thought that i would have oscars living in my backyard in february... and it turns out that i cant, and I was right 10 years ago! Thanks again.
