Bringing out the colour

dont mind the tore up fins. the oscars got him one night but i got rid of them and his fins were perfect in a week. i miss that guy R.I.P
 
hands down the best food I have found for color is frozen krill. You need to make sure they have a variety though
 
yeah i agree that krill is really good for brining out colors mostly reds but oishi is some good stuff as far as pellets go, but they are really small in size and i've only seen one size bag
 
prawns and crickets gut loaded with lots of carotene rich food do quite well
 
beta carotene enhances the red color...
mussels helps in yellow...

for greens and blues i'm not so sure..
 
Well, the best is to give a variety of enerything to ensure it has a balanced diet. But frankly, i think 90% of its colour potential comes from its genes.
