bringing up the salt level

whats the best way to bring up the salt level in my 150g tank,its fw now but i want it to be brackish for my achers,how slowly do i make the change?i have a 30 g can that i use to change the water can i just make my water changes 1.015 30 g every week, that way the 150 would take a month or two to get up tp 1.015.

I have never done it but read one article that suggests not more than 0.002 sg change per week unless you want to have to recycle the filter.
