hey guys just found out i have some bristle worms in my tank, they arent too big probably about two inches or so and i was wondering if anyone had any experience with fish that will eat these guys for me. I know they are beneficial at this size but i dont want them growing larger and doing any harm. I was thinking about getting a trigger for this problem. But if you know of any better options its much appreciated. Im still starting out so i want a fish that isnt too much of a fincky eater my copperband isnt doing the job.

Wrasses. Especially the pseudochellinus genus (Sorry, need a scientific spell check...google will turn up results with that name though)

A little delayed responce by me... but generally you wont have issues with bristle worms, period, even at an adult size, as most dont get very big, and their populations are self limiting. In the sence that when the food gets scarse the population will decline, if the food becomes abundant they will multiply, pretty standard biological processes. So you likely have nothing to worry about, also alot of omnivors/carnivors will pick them up when the worms are small.

The vast majority of bristley worms are harmless scavengers that you want in your tank. Its the smoother ones that are more likely to be a problem. Do a search on bobbit worms. YIKES.
