I was wondering if somebody could clarify what these guys eat for me. Ive so far tried without success to feed him lettuce, shrimp pellets, tetra bottomfeeder tabs, and zuccini. All of these ive read are readily eaten by these. I've yet to try cucumbers, green beans or peas as i have been unable to find exactly what kind is best/safe to feed him(frozen, canned, fresh what?)
So anyone with firsthand experiance with a suggestion would be most welcome as he's definatly putting the munch on my sword plants.:(

try Omega One Veggie Wafers . . . never seen a BN turn these down

also, do you have any driftwood in the tank? I keep Malaysian driftwood in my tanks with plecos, and the BNs spend most (all?) of their time grazing on these . . .

Ok, i'll try those. I do have a sizable piece of driftwood he enjoys hanging on, i knew i would have to have a piece if i expected to get a pleco of any soft(researched what pleco's need before buying one) :)

try cucumber or kale is great too.

Mine all eat NLS with no issues at all. The smell is a great attractant for them (with driftwood in the tank of course).
