I'm just wondering how different genes interact.
I have seen albino super reds, red marbles with blue eyes, albino calicos, and many more mixes, but I was wondering if there's a real definitive way to make these mixes, as I have also seen pairs carrying certain genes throw out random long fins, super reds, and albinos in the same batch, but all were just visible examples of their gene.
I also know that bristlenose plecos grow based on their genetics, with the more complex or rare ones like super reds and longfins growing slower than chocolates or standard finned fish, and I was wondering if fish with complex genes mixed with the more simple ones would grow slower or faster.
