Is this a good idea or will the pleco scratch the tank? Can any good algae-eating pleco exist in an acrylic tank that will not scratch it? The pleco must be able to live with predatory fish like and clown knife and datnoid.

bushynose will be fine but clown knife may snack on little bushynose. Stay away from any panque such as royals and the like. I had a 10 inch royal completley ruin my 90 acrylic.

I've had three dwarf bristle-nose and a clown pleco in my 450g acrylic from a year and a half, have had no issues.
