Looking for standard (not albino, not longfin) bristlenose plecos. A few of them. Also a good scavenger, along the lines of a giraffe catfish. Something active that won't get too huge (under 18") and can hold its own with aggressive CA cichlids. Let me know if you've got any or know a place that has some. I'm guessing the Wetspot has some bristlenose but I doubt I can get up there for a while. Also wondering if anyone has marbled crays for sale. If not I'll just go trap some local crays and quarantine them a while...

I've got cash or some Glissman actinic 54watt T5 bulbs bulbs to trade (long shot but who knows).

If you can make it up to Portland/Vancouver. You can have both my bristlenose free. One is 5" and other is MIA or somewhere in my 155.

As for a clean up "compact" catfish. Would you consider a Striped Raphael? Keeps to themselves and does all the clean up at night, Ie. super full belly in tha morning.

BN at WS are stupid expensive for the bigger ones.
For the other cat, personally, I'd go for a shoal of clown loaches, they have 10000x the personality of most catfish that would fit the bill and you can very easily sell them for good money later down the line once they get some size on them (if you wanted to).

I want a more active diurnal cat. Frankly I don't know much about catfish and need to research it more. Thanks for the offer of the Bristlenoses, I'll take you up on them but won't be able to make it up that way for a little while. Do you know the sexes? I've got one large female that will be going into the tank in the next month or so.

I do like clown loaches but they've been the one fish I cannot keep alive. Maybe it was the small size or the live foods I was feeding them but I've tried them a couple times and killed them off. I'd have to buy a larger sized group and spend several hundred dollars on them and I just don't have the extra cash for that.

If you can make it over to Boise ID: I have brown BN plecos available and self-cloning marbled crayfish.

The plecos are 1.5" on average and are eating cucumber and algae wafers.
The crays are still pretty small, only about 8 weeks old.

That's funny, I can't keep plecos alive, never had a problem with clown loaches except for a faulty heater. Sam has like 8 million large clown loaches LOL, maybe he can give you a few. ;)

Let's only chit chat about plecos, catfish, and crawdads here o.k. lol

Trade ya 1 bocourti for a clown loach?:) You can have both my Male and Female BN Pleco free as mentioned if you can make it up North.

I will be getting rid of at least one bocourti down the road, but they need to put on some more size before I can choose who to keep. Honestly shouldn't take all that long as all three of them are growing faster than I'd believe possible. I'll try to figure out when I can make it up that way for the plecos, but I'm so busy with work and school right now I can't say when. I haven't had a day free in over 5 weeks now...
