broad headed skink

They have very similar care to a Five-Lined Skink but this species is more arboreal and will enjoy any vertical space you can provide. They are often found in dead trees under loose bark.

I always thought they were same skink but broadheads were just the adult version of the male 5 lined skink ?

I noticed the bigger 5 lined skinks in yard over yrs look very different.

Male Five-Lines get a reddish head coloring as they get older, very similar to how Broad Headed Skinks look.

Here's a photo of a male Five-Lined I look in Georgia a few years ago.
