Well a couple weeks ago the 55 gallon wet dry I made had one of the panels break. This i no big deal i was going to replace the panel today, since I got the call that my tank is finally here "oh yaa pictures on friday".
I went to the glass shop and bough another panel this time 1/4 thick. Then I got to thinking I see some places using pressurized pond canister filters, or pressurized sand filters. I have not bought any pumps or filter media for this 55 gallon sump yet, and was thinking if I could get by with using one of these pressurized systems, I would have an extra tank for fish.
So what do you guys think, I have read enough post on her to know they work, and will hold my bb no problem. what I wounder about is how well they do with keeping the water clean looking, or will I need a mechanical filter too?
or what about those life guard modular systems?
