:swear: :swear: I went fishing looking for a LMB on tuesday. Saw a rather large one, but thought my tank is 18" wide (75g), so I quick jogged home and tossed him in my tank(Didnt have a bad big enough to fit him in to acclimate him). Measured him before I put him in. It said. 17". I'm like "oh $h!t"!! So now Im left with a decision. Let him die on land, or put him in anyway. Thinking it was the right move i killed him..

Just kidding I put him in. Well. I dumped 20 4" gold fish for him, a 9" barracuda, channel catfish and my oscar. Well he didn't want feeders. He wanted to be an ass hole and eat my barracuda!

":irked: :irked: :irked: :nilly: :screwy: :( :swear:" <=== That times 10.

So I get mad, sleep on it, and then noticed, "Somethings missing here.."

He ate my pleco.

Reached my hand in there, stuck my thumb in his mouth, and ripped his ass out. Brought him back to the lake and goodbye feeder-non-eater. In the process, he got water in my bed and ruined one of my amazon swords.
:swear::swear::swear::swear:

Mad!

All in all it was pretty funny, and aggravating at the same time. Now that Im done with the story, you can now fell at me for doing the fish sin.:grinno:

Not a good idea. My bass never did well in warm water, and was very aggressive toward anything smaller. They will try and eat anything.

Large mouth bass=LMB LMB=Lose more buddy (fish). lol. That was pretty ***.

ya it was....lol.

ida killed the F**ker and ate it!:D

so what rule did you break? releasing a fish back into the wild? not quarintining him? feeding it feeders? feeding it fish that are worth more than it? or was it the part where you put a 17" wild cool water fish in a 75gal. tank thats at Tropical temps.?

there's even a thread about one gulping down a baby gator!!!

I don't know what to say. This has to be one of the most blatant examples of fish abuse and bad fishkeeping I have ever seen. Next time, do the fish a favor and leave it in the wild if you don't have the means to keep it.
I'm gonna keep an eye on this thread, it has "lock-me" written all over it.

Shame you went for a 17" fish... in the next month or so the spawn will be happening, all sorts of appropriate for home keeping sized fish shortly thereafter.

Man, I am not sure if I should treat this thread seriously or as a prank.

It is still stupid.
