i got a 120 with a broken brace
The brace is broken right in the center where that casting nipple part is
i put 2 10 gallon divider things on both sides of the brace.
Will this hold up? what kind of glue should i use to make sure it stays?
The brace corners will be sanded so if the fish jump than they wont hit their heads on it.

Even with Krazy glue I don't think that will hold.

Either buy a new top frame or silicone in a strip of 1/2" glass just below the broke one.

Burt:)

I would take another piece of plastic, lay it on top, drill a couple 1/8" holes on each side of the crack and pop rivet them together just to be safe.

Cool idea, I've never thought of that

i think im going to drill holes and put plastic on both sides
should i use stainless steel screws or plastic screw things?

Good job! I get this question so many times at the store. Now I have an answer!

If pvc solent cement will melt both, draw it together with a clamp, then weld them together and leave the clamp on for several days till solvent is thoroughly evaporated and the plastic has hardened.

Then pray it doesn't stretch like the first time...check your tank seals!

I used stainless steel machine screws to hold in a plexiglass piece to hold a broken brace together
