Broken Flowerhorn!

hey everyone!

i recently given a flowerhorn and when got it home, i noticed it looked broken..
literally! it looks like it has a tumor growing from the right side of his face..but at the same time, it looks like he broke his back. im not sure whats wrong with it.. can someone please help! i took a picture with my blackberry.. quality is gonna be bad.. its only about 2 - 2 1/2 inches!

mmm for what i can see from that angle..pic dont help to much..lol...yes he have his tail or back broken,,and i dont think that can be solve..he will grow like that....poor fish.
 
Looks pretty messed up. with the spine bent like that and a tumor,going to have a rough go of it.
 
I wuz thinking the same thing, it may be more humane to put him down then to suffer like that... sorry about that.
 
Spinal deformities can usually be lived with. Tumors, not so much. I've only had one fish grow a visible tumor, but I've had a few healthy, active, able-bodied fish with messed up spines.

Verdict: Euthanize
 
I would still say to put it down. You won't be as pleased, an he won't either living deformed. I've had a deformed fish an he did not look comfortable.
