Hey MFK,

When I was water changing my lil bro decided to knock down the lid and broke the glass..pic can seen below...
Is there any way to cover the hole?
besides glass

i got glass bangers so i would make sure i atleast cover the sharp edges with duck tape so they wont cut them selfs and maybe a soft screen from under

You could get a piece of lexan and go right over the top of the remaining glass or take the remaining glass out and replace it with the lexan. You can buy ithe lexan at Lowes.

You can also take screen netting thats plastic even cheaper comes in a row of it i believe they sell it at Home depot but its black and looks like crosshatching but it will blend in nice and you can either silicone the edges of it or you can tape either way i used it once before on a old tank i dont think the light is powerful enough to Melt it depends on lighting

Lexan is fine. I have used it with the lights as well. it wont melt or warp as lonng as your not keeping 200watts of light on there.
