Well turns out my Koran was showing the problem with my water! See all my params were fine and he was still swimming about and being very active all of my inverts were very active but I noticied my water was at 1.024 SG so I tried to lower it but the Hydrometer was still measuring 1.024 so last night after a water change I checked my Hydrometer and it was at 1.024 after putting in pure FW... Then I noticied it was broken???? Fixed it and the Hydrometer was reading 1.018!?! That's way to low is my fish going to die???? I have it back up to 1.021 SG now he's been in the tank for a week giving incorrect readings so I'm hoping that when I put the 10% FW in it dropped it below 1.020 SG.

No, they are not going to die, just raise it slowly up too around 1.023 - 1.025 over a period of a few days so the fish get used too the change in salinity.

He's in pretty bad shape I mean he is still active as all get out but he has blotches of color just off...

Thats not overly much to worry about now your retyifying the issue..as long as your water quality is kept very well, they should soon clear up..Maybe add some vit c and garlic too the Korans food..

Ditch the hydrometer and invest in a refractometer. They are a hundred times more accurate and aren't prone to all of these problems if used correctly.

Plan on it.

As for my Koran, it looks like he has the ich only problem it's only on the edge of his fins and after looking around someone said its most likely just air bubbles sticking to his fins so I'm gonna watch and see
