So I have one of those Eclipse all-in-one tanks (I think it's around 7 gallons, with the light and filter top). Anyways my boyfriend added some live sand, and the packaging said not to rinse it but their was still a lot of little particles in it, so my boyfriend stirred it up thinking that the filter would suck it all up. Now the pump doesn't work. When it's plugged in, I can hear it humming a little but it can't take up water or anything.
Is the pump busted, or is there something I can do to get the particles out of it??
