I just noticed my RedTail Payara has a broken tooth! Will it fall out and another grow in it's place, or will it be like that forever? I'm trying to get a good pic, but he never really opens his mouth...

they get new teeth all the time. They will usually fall out and the new one will be in and ready in a matter of hours. My red tail lost on in a feeder a few days ago and the next day another one was in and ready. It would have made a good video if I had a recorder the feeder was swimming around half dead with a tooth sticking out of it.
