Broko with a trailer on his caudal fin. Anyone seen this before?

Here is a pick of my 12 inch broko with his caudal fin. Has anyone seen this before? It was a little spike a couple of months ago, now it keeps growing and curling.

Nice brok,streamer and all.I've never seen that on any other cichla but my Champsachromis had one on it's lower corner of it's caudal fin.Have not seen another like it before or since.

Stingray is a leo/pearl hybrid male. He is a little over 14 inches disc diameter now. He had been attempting to mate with the two bigger motoro females, but not in a couple months now so I hope that means he was successful. Only time will tell.
