Bronx zoo herps and others

Hadn't been since i was kid, so my gf and i drove 2 hours to NY and check it out. Overall it was nice, they do a lot as far as offering information on the downfalls of the pet trade and other environmental issues. The herps were nice, but the enclosures weren't very impressive. They had a hatchery area with lots of little ones, quite a few varinids too. Plus wednesdays are free admission! You can donate whatever you want though which is good.
Pics are so-so, lighting made it difficult and facebook probably messed up the quality. Check em out..........

Ahhh i can't remember, some sort of toad i believe. Sonoran desert toad maybe...

really nice photos! back when i was little i used to live in ny, my dad used to take me to the bronx zoo almost every weekend as i was fascinated with animals.
