a little while back i had some apple snails who were eaten by my clown loaches. well, i thought the shells looked cool, so i left them in for decorations. well, one day im cleaning the tank and one of my 6 bronze cories isnt running away from the vacuum, mainly cuz hes not there.lol. well, im searching the whole tank, the floor, behind my tank, in case he may have jumped out, everywhere. finally im like, hmmm, maybe the shell? naaa, hed be to big i think, but after a half an hr of looking, i was ready to do anything. so i pick the first shell up, and nothing, clean as a whistle. the next one, hmm, feels a bit heavy?? then i feel a vibration i the shell. nd im like oh cr**. so im like now how to get him out. so tried shaking, and that didnt work, so finally, i started breaking the shell ope with the handle of a screw driver, and then putting it in the water for a few seconds to give him a little water, then break and repeat. finally i og t the little fella out. a little scared, and much smaller then the other 5, but he pulled through, and that was the last snail she ll to go in my tank lol.

similer thing happened to me with one of my corys. a palm tree style plant died and the round hollow base off the plant was left and he got stuck in it. had to break th plant apart to get the poor cory out

Simular thing happened to me, but it was with an angelfish and a pipe. I'm glad to hear that it's okay, though.
