Brothers Look TOTALLY different....Please ID color morph

So, I gave my friend a pair of FH from my breeding pair of SB ZZ. I went to his house today and took pictures as I was amazed at the difference in the two. The "normal" one seems to be the dominate one. Could that have anything to do with the coloring of his bro?

Fish 2 looks like a fader.

I didnt think that large a fade can happen so soon. These fish are only 5 months old!
Once they fade, is that it with no chance of pigment returning?
