Brought some fish home from the camping trip..

Overall I was really disappointed with the fishing this year

It hasn't been this bad in a long time. I didn't catch a single catfish this year and thats very unusual. Anyway, I used a minnow trap throughout the day and ended up catching several little fellas. I also brought home a few of their medium size brothers. Pics:

This is my favorite fish that I brought home, Green Sunfish. Roughly around 5-6". When I caught him it was displaying very awesome color, very green and very orange on it's fins. I expect his coloration will come back after he gets settled in some. Oh yea, for a sunfish this guy has a HUGE mouth I also have a few more of these about 1" long.

Here are two Rock Bass that I brought home. I've always loved them for their huge mouths and deep red eyes.

Here is an assortment of the little guys I brought home. Probably 10-12 in all.

In this pic you'll see the big guy that made the trip home. It's a creek chub (around here we call them horny heads because they get little horns / spikes on their head). This one is 12"+. One of his fins is injured, might have got nipped by a turtle or something, dunno.

Nice natives. They will eventually adjust and become beautiful. I love all the species you caught. Do you have a tank dedicated for natives only?

very cool! i caught some type of sunfish but sadly it died 3 days after.....

At the moment they are in their own 50 Breeder. I'm debating if I want to put them in my 120 that I'm working on. If they color up real nicely I might.
