hey guys due to shuffling could a brown knife be a community fish, I have mean I know they are somewhat community fish but could they eat full grown guppies and swordtails . I know he is full grown and his mouth can only fit 1mm pellets

about 5 1/2 he didnt mess with my 2 in sun cats, I am shuffling fish and my one oscar picks on him and soon I am combining my 2x 125s to a 240, and well I have BGK going in it, so i cant put them together, no room in my severum tank and my only other heated tank is the small fish community which is a a 225, i got him a year ago and he/she has only grown a 1/2 in, got him at petsmart on sale due to size, wonder if it was stunted .Cause I know they get 8 in

I've had my little guy for over a year now. He's in my 120, and regularly faces off with an increasingly aggressive petco breed of P. Bass. I've never seen him nip a fin, but he also doesn't back down when challenged. I know all fish have slightly different personalities, but I'd say your brown knife should be fine a in the community tank.

thanks, i have a few more nocturnal fish but my knife comes out all the time, I dont think browns are that notcternal, but was worried about my clown, cories, I doubt my royal will bother him
