brown lines on fish (gold severum)

Got some weird brown lines on my gold severum (about 6 inches), will get pics tomorrow, but I have seen a little of it before, it just looks worse now.

Kinda looks veiny, but kinda just like dirt on his side. I have heard of people having bruises on their fish that go away in a little while, but this doesn't look like that.

Any suggestions of what it might be?

do they look like worms? cause if they do they are suppose to be there

lol oh no, that would be funny, but there are absolutely no worms on this gold severum, I think its a female. It has a U shaped breeding tube and my green severum has the pointed V shaped one, but he's smaller I think maybe he's roughing her up a bit, but I have never seen this brown blotchy almost dirty looking pattern on any fish before.
