I just picked up a second hand tank and want to run it bare bottom but the brown paper on the bottom of the clear for life tank looks like crap as it is peeling and scratched in places. Does anyone have any advice on it's removal?

Most people seem to sand it off and follow up with a buffer. I've never tried, but wonder how well a pressure washer would perform.
