Brown Swordtail Fish Discussion**

hey ppl ...

any one knows anything about a hybrid of Swordtail fish called Brown swordatil ??

and what is it's production line or how to get it ?? or even does it excite ... ??

i looked up for it on Google and Wikipedia but nth so far !

i hope it ll be a good discussion thread

I purchased some blue locally and they sorta turned brown in their old age. Hope this helps.

i have heard about it from a pic of hybridizing types of Swordtail and guppy

but i could not understand any thing ...

Guppies and swordtails are of totally different genera. Any rumors about both crossbreeding is absolutely ridiculous. Swordtails can however cross with anything of the Xiphophorus genus particularly platies.

i meant i saw 2 different pics for hybridizing guppies .. alone , and swords alone ... each with his own

Double Swordtails and Black swordtails are cool...
(Black swordtails - so black that you think their are mollies)

I dabbled in Swordtails for a little bit, and still read books on them, so i know a little bit about their genetics. But i have never heard or or seen a brown swordtail. If so then i would think it would just be a badly colored one (cant think of correct words too late at night).
