brown trout death

Had a brown trout die over the weekend about 9" long. Fed him shiners last week and he ate just fine. checked the water chemistry and nothing seemed out of the normal range. All other fish seem fine. Any thoughts.
Had the fish since October with no problems.

Since everything was "fine" why don't you tell us why it died?
