Hope you know that Browns can live for 8yrs and feed primarily on insects; large Browns feed mostly on fish and crayfish which i noticed that you had one in your tank but they feed on the surface more than any other trout out there. The difference between farm and wild it that the farm raised are not as colorful and their fins are torn up by constant rubbing against the concrete raceways, yours is definately wild!! The world record is 35lbs 15oz so i hope you know what you are getting yourself into(loads of luck) There is one thing in common with all trout species is that there is a reliable source of cold water, the preferred temp is 60-65, preferred current speed is slow to medium. I have had trout for a couple of years and learned alot this is what i have learned from Brown trout and if you have any more questions please feel free to ask, trout is definately a hard species to keep if you don't have the right equipment and knowledge, so the best of luck to you and keep us posted will you!!!
