True Mixed Martial Artists will know what Bruce Lee was talking about when he said this about water:


"Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend."

yup, it was me. I've been browsing it over the last few months, its really cool insight into his ideas. Its hard to read as a "normal" book tho because its really just a compilation of all his random notes he had written for himself through his life.

Anderson Silva once said that his idol is Bruce Lee. There is a documentary about Silva that came out in 2011 and the title is "Like Water."

I often think about what it couldve been like if Bruce were still alive, I know moviewise the bar would be much higher.
