Bruising/redness on nostrils?

The bichir my friend just gave me has a bit of redness around its nostrils. Is this dangerous? Will it go away? Any information is appreciated. Thanks

Did you just get it? If so, it likely bumped during transport. It should heal up nicely, just keep the water clean.
