Brush algae

hello
i have a quick question
i had quite a bit of brush algae in my tank. been using simple clear to reduce phosphates and nitraites and it has been keeping the algae at bay
i have just removed the wood n rocks etc and scrubbed all the algae off. about 90% is gone
how do i keep the algae from coming back

how many other plants do you have in the tank? add more plants and it will keep the algae at bay.
