brushing against side of tank

ive had my gars for a little more than a week now, and they keep brushing their heads against the side of my tank. they arent using a lot of force or charging, but rather just gently brushing and keeping to the side of the tank.

should i be worried?

that's an indication that your water params are a little off. can you test your water?

Definitely do a water test, and fix anything that's off. But they could still just be a little nervous of their new tank as well and they are trying to "hide" on the top edges of the water/tank. It took mine a couple weeks to get used to me.
