Is any keeping Brycinus nurse? I was able to grab four (wish the store had more). They are in quarantine and doing well but sure are nippy. Anyone able to share personal experiences with them?

Kept a single specimen many years ago in a 55 mixed community with ctenopoma, a few random neotropical cichlids and some loaches. Behaved like most small to mid sized schooling characins (Chalceus, Astyanax etc), it would hang near the outflow of the aquaclear and periodically patrol the upper 1/3 of the tank. It had a very strong feeding response and was lots of fun to feed floating foods. It's favourite food was crickets, would smash them off the top of the water like a mini tarpon. Wasn't particularly aggressive but would nip back at anything that tried to attack it. Very cool fish and amazingly silver under bright light, too bad I only ever had the single specimen.

Thank you for sharing . I am really enjoying my four and hopeful to pickup more
