Brycon ID?

Looks like a melanopterus......it looks just like mine. How big?
 
That lil bugger's only about 5". I have one in my big tank too that's a monster. Probobly 10-11". Are these typicaly a more mellow species of Brycon? Haven't seemed too aggressive towards tankmates.......

Mine is about a foot, mine is pretty aggressive. He's killed 2 peacock bass, and 2 other brycon.

What tank mates do you have with yours? I have a wolf fish and a ornate bichir with mine, but im looking for more tank mates

This picture shows what might be a Brycon guatemalensis.

The first picture is a Brycon melanopterus. I have one in my big tank. It is a peaceful fish I bought from Oliver Lucanus in Montreal on December 23 1998. It reached about 10 inches (25.4cm) after 2 years. It sometimes shoals with a 18" (45 cm) B. dentex and eleven B. guatemalensis that range from 18" to 26" (45 cm to 66 cm)

Great to have another Brycon keeper on MFK.
 
Well here I only see melanopterus, and dentex
