Hey all. today.. i turned on my lights and i looked at the cut shrimp i left in the tank for lima shovelnose.. Its been there for about 3 days i assume and now.. there is a BUBBLE around it!!. it looks pretty nasty and there are like air bubbles trapped in it.. is it bacteria? is that bad? its only the shrimp on the gravel. anyone know what that is?

Pull it out. It's turned. Don't leave food in for more than 12 hours. 24 at the most. It's just fouling up your water now. It is nasty, and the bubbles are a byproduct of the decomposition, to answer your question.

Its not that i leave it there. i just dont see it because food usually gets stuck under driftwood nd stuff by water flow. it was just now i realized there was food left in under there
