I have "hovered" on MFK for a while as I have been primarily kept reef tanks. In process of getting an approx. 440 gal (8'x3'x30") that will house triggers/angels/tangs...
Have a lot of experience with sump/fuge set ups used primarily on reef tanks. As I am doing research I have come across bubble bead filters used primarily for ponds - does anyone have experience (or know of someone with experience) using this filter on a salt water tank, and if so, would you recommend this? If not, please offer other suggestions.
As a side, I will be using a large protein skimmer and UV.
