i have to agree . . . how can one come to the conclusion that a virus involving ribonucleic acid is the cause and that it's not contagious? first of all, any good human medical scientisit and veterinarian would not make such a diagnosis without a test. also, you don't want to go to a vet and ask for a fish needle. there is no such thing. plus, $100 for a needle? for hypothetical purposes, let's say this is true and you need to inject some antibiotic into your fish, all you would have to do is get a needle. the question is what gauge would you use. also, how deep should the needle penetrate the skin of a fish. there are a lot of questions that need to be answered. i would not go to a vet and ask for such items. most vets focus on mammals. only a few even focus on exotic creatures and when they do, it's mainly birds, reptiles and amphibians. i od not know any vets that deal with fish. it's a rare area of veterinary medicine.
